Welcome to Loran’s Heart!
I’m so glad you stopped by. Won’t you come in and visit with me?
Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” I agree! Do you?
If you are searching for serenity, peace of mind, or skills for personal development and spiritual growth, you’ve come to the right place!
I’m here to walk with you on your journey and provide the support you need to make the changes you want to make.
My blog posts are often designed to make you think. I write about topics like acceptance, compassion, well-being, and connection. We all encounter problems in our daily lives and there are solutions to those problems. I hold conversations about a variety of challenges and offer up practical answers based on years of helping people. Sometimes I include questions to think about or prompts for you to write about in your journal.
Photography helps me explore the enchantment of nature. I post images of nature for you to meditate on because those images can help calm and soothe you. All the pictures on the site are mine (except for a few that are mentioned otherwise).
Do you keep a journal? Have you thought about starting one but don’t know where to begin?
I’ve been keeping a journal for 50 years! I’ve written an easy to use manual, The Spiral Journey. It’s a downloadable pdf brimming with journaling prompts based on the four seasons of the year. It includes some of my finest nature photographs. Keeping a journal has many benefits. You become more centered when you write about your life. You clear your mind and identify your emotions. Through a regular writing practice you can identify where you are and decide if that’s where you want to be.
Once you identify where you are and decide that you’d like to make changes, then The Transformation Journey can help guide you. The Transformation Journey, is an e-guide lovingly prepared to lead you through the deepest levels of change towards a more enchanted existence. It’s not a goal-setting program. My guide is designed to teach you how to change from the inside out. This downloadable pdf is a tool for self-exploration, takes a gentle, loving approach towards fear and resistance and assists you in generating change in your life. There are loads of journaling prompts too.
The Retreat Journey is also a downloadable pdf with eight activities for you to begin practicing self-care. If you feel overwhelmed by the demands of work and/or family and find your needs at the bottom of the list of things to do, then you might need to integrate some simple and rejuvenating practices into your life!
Take a look around and see what I’ve got to offer. Please feel free to leave me a comment or ask me questions. My aim is to generate ideas and hold conversations that help us gain a new, healthier perspective on life. I’ve created a safe and interactive space for all of us to flourish and thrive like a crocus in the springtime.
